If you don't want to finish the game to unlock the last difficulty, add the line "bHardcoreUnlocked=true" under "[DeusEx.JCDentonMale]" which can be found right at the bottom of gmdxuser.ini

One question. Does this modification work with another mods like New Vision?
Download GMDX. NV & HDTP comes bundled with it. Nothing else is compatible though.
Could you release a version which doesn't include the other 2 mods. Many people already have New Vision and HDTP, and having to download a 1.5GB mod is a pretty big strain on some peoples internet connections

A version without HDTP too is not an option as GMDX has a modified version of HDTP and was built on top of it for compatibility reasons.
Hi, i never register on website in these days, but now i had to. THANK YOU so much for this mod. I just finished 4.somethin version and it was amazing. Deus Ex is my favourite game over 10 years and this mod change it from briliant to even better.
I like all small details, i know this game so well so i can feel any GMDX detail. Now im watchong 8.0 version and it looks SO AMAZING.

Any plans on implementing any of the things from Revision, assuming they give you permission?
also, I think Hardcore should significantly reduce the total number of skill points you can get. Deus Ex Veterans can get enough skill points to level pretty much every skill they intend to use, usually Master of a weapon type plus a bunch of hacking and various other skills like Advanced Lockpicking and Electronics. Forcing the player to be more nuanced and less of a jack-of-all-trades in my opinion would benefit hardcore mode greatly, although I haven't finished the game so it's possible you are already doing this. Reducing the total gain, or increasing skill costs would both have the same effects.

Hello. I've edited "bHardcoreUnlocked=true" under "[DeusEx.JCDentonMale]" in GMDXv9\\System\\GMDXuser.ini folder but I'm unable to start a new Hardcore game and still have the ??????? on the Hardcore Options in game. Any ideas?
