The Tournament

For The Heir
Few have missed the news "The heir Louis de Vrailly of Tibaut is finally coming of age." It has been questioned for far too long - if the his father, lord Hubert de Vrailly, was capable of impregnating a woman - but the rumours have been put to rest. This will be a day of celebration that echoes throughout the region as the Tibaut's purse is generous. It is the day to celebrate the naming of the heir of Tibaut.
Many of the peasantry's only concern is how big the prize gold is, lord Hubert spared no expenses to throw an extravagant tournament in his son's honor. TheThe tournament will be divided into three parts, archery, melee, and jousting.
The first swordsman will be granted 500 gold and a prestegious sword. Runner up will recieve 250 Gold.
The first archer will get 400 gold and a sturdy bow. The runner up will recieve 200 gold and third place 100 gold.
The undefeated jousting champion will be granted 5000 gold and a horse of his choice within Tibauts great stables.
To be able to joust you must be of noble blood and it is rumored that the heir, Louise de Vaille, rides first. It is also rumored that Sir Gaston de Eu will participate in the jousting. If rumours are to be believed the knight has never been unseated nor missed a single blow and is known as the Iron Lance. When the tournament comes to a conclusion a feast will be held at Dhirim Castle, where food and drink will be served to all.
