How to install the mod tutorial - Death Is Alive mod for Battlefield 2

Here is a quick tutorial how to install Death is Alive
Lets get started:

Download the .zip file from "Download" section
Find the installation path for Battlefield 2
Default one is:

C:/Program Files (x86 on 64-bit)/EA Games/Battlefield 2 for CD Version

C:/Program Files (x86 on 64-bit)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Battlefield 2 for Steam Version

How to install the modification?
Extract the folder within the .zip archive into this directory:

C:/Program Files (x86 on 64-bit)/EA Games/Battlefield 2/mods

C:/Program Files (x86 on 64-bit)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Battlefield 2/mods

If your root directory is custom, please find Battlefield 2 with help or "search"
Ingame select Community then Custom Games and select Death is Alive
You can either copy the shortcut to the desktop to start the game

If you run Steam Version follow these steps:

1) Select Battlefield 2 from your Games list
2) Right-Click on the name and select Properties
3) Select Set Lauch Options
4) Paste this code below:

+modPath mods/deathsalive +fullscreen 1

For 0.2 Version,it will be:

+modPath mods/Death_is_Alive +fullscreen 1

5) Select Ok the Close and start the game
6) Now you started within the mod :)
