Lately I have been doing several experiments related to model assets trying to get some more experience in a line of work that has been only explored by some few modders in the DoW community. Some of this experiments have been successful while others have been failures (for now).
Some examples of what I have been testing:
Considering these two experiments in particular took me less than five minutes to accomplish I would say the relation time/results pays off even if there might be some minor visual problems. Still without any reall moddeling work two new models were created so it is positive.
Negroid head is too big for colonel body, while Colonel's head is a bit small for Inq's body.
It is not like everyone is proportional but i did say there were some minor visual problems and these were tests.
Also it still is better having a big head than weird mustaches or simply changing the texture to make a white face black.
In fact i do like the inquisitor with the colonel's head because it seems like it is an inquisitor stuffed up to seem bigger, lol.
jONES why did you delete your comment? It was pertinent and i was just making a point. It is not like your opinion doesn't matter, i like comments but i also like replying to them, always 2 sides of a conversation.
this is a great news , i need you to teach me how to do this. in fact i do like both models better then the original body. the power armor for the inquisitor is perfectly fine with the reduc head but i agree, toth head is too big ...

Thanks, i can teach as far as i know so far, RT2 is the real expert on the subject although sometimes it is hard to understand what he is suggesting when a person is just starting to mess with FFE. Codex named models present in FoK and UA for example seem pretty compatible in terms of things like this head swap and several things like making something invisible can really help you make diverse models with some base modeled components.
These are not the best models possible but considering they were done without moddeling work it is good enough.
Is this for soul storm or dark crusade cuz dont have soul storm :(
