This mod will feature Monte Cassino to demonstrate how the game will play and get player feedback. One of the most noted features is a fully destructible terrain including trees, vehicles, building to even the newly cratered ground itself.
Battles will be fought on land, sea and air. Using all manner of vehicles and weapons available at the times. The years 1939-1945 will be featured and all of the major contenders will be playable as well.
Since we will be showcasing Monte Cassion, the playable countries will be:
Allied: America and Great Britain
Axis: Germany and Italy
Character classes will consist of Infantry, Airborne, Air Force, Navy, Artillery battalions, and Armored Divisions. Each will have thier own unique weapons loadout and historically accurate gear and kits.
Gameplay will consist of a singleplayer/co-op style as well as online gameplay with numerous players. First person and third person style views will be available.
Since it's an MMORPG with full fledge servers planned, the singleplayer will be free but online will cost a small montly subscription fee that we'll only raise to cover the costs of running the servers.

No it is not an rts it is a 1st person/3rd person rpg war game.

I'm definitevelly tracking this mod.
I have a lot of experience with UDK and CryEngine 2.I can design levels also i can work with 3ds max but i'm not so good.
In terms of easy of use, how does the unreal compare to the cryengine, or the source engine (if you've used that) I have yet to really try out the level editor in unreal, but I LOVED the cryengine.
