Dawn of War II: Elite is a multiplayer mod for Dawn of War II: Retribution. Originally envisioned by Caeltos (a competitive player with a wealth of experience spanning through vanilla to Retribution) as an experimental balance mod for high-level players, Elite evolved into making bolder changes as THQ cut the official support of DOW 2 in their dive toward bankruptcy. The addition of new abilities and units became commonplace, from Space Marine Sternguard Veterans, Eldar Fire Dragons, Chaos Raptors to the Ork Flash Gitz, finalising in the introduction of an entirely new faction - the Grey Knights, based on Bloodravage’s Destroyer 40k mod – all designed from a competitive PvP angle. Coupled with continuous development and an active community dedicated to casts, coverage and regular events, the Elite mod continues to preserve and enrich the de facto Warhammer 40K RTS to this day.

Well if you need i could help sir ;). But i have a question (i did not dl it yet) could i know almost how many units/under faction or factions in it...I know it's stupid but i try to not download that much this time you know.

Finally i download it but something is strange $10001001 no range ? Does the language is not recognized ?
Yeah, right now, Elite only really supports the English version, and some Spanish. Otherwise, you'll get a lot of no range errors.

You don't have the option if you open your Steam library and right click on Retribution, go to Properties and then check under the Language tab?
If you really want to translate it, you can find the file in your Retribution installation folder in GameAssets\Locale\English

It has Mordian, Steel Legion, Vostroyan, and Catachan schemes. Nothing else planned as of yet.
hey there loving the mod although im a bit new to the whole mod deal, got the game working and all, its just now i deal with bodies constantly piling up and the game will lag more and more if i dont make the matches quick in 6 player matches. it'd be appreciated if i could reset the corpse thing to default so they just go away
also why is it i never see warboss showing any gear aside from his weapon? :[
nevermind on my second question cuz i realized thats related to ranking up, but i could definitely use help on the corpse issue
In the next patch, there will be a timer set on a lot of the squishier early game unit bodies so they'll disappear after a few minutes.
He should have something appear when he equips the boss pole and the trophy rack, but he doesn't have art set to show up for his armours.
I this the only version I have to download? Or do I need to install a previous version?

Great mod. Captures what DoW 2 should of been; brilliant job overall.
Did a fresh install of DOWII rep and Im getting a CTD as soon as it launches with a bugsplay. had issues with things in my temp folders and in my "mygames" dawn of war.
I wiped them clean but still cant get it to launch. Any suggestions?
