Description
As mentioned in our farewell news post, the DoV team has indefinitely postponed work on modding Sins of a Solar Empire.
However the Dawn of Victory Universe doesn't end with the mod. We’re working on a brand new project and taking the DoVoVerse in a totally different direction.
As this new project is not a computer game or mod, we won’t be posting any further details about it on ModDB. The best way to keep track of Dawn of Victory would be by “liking” our page on Facebook.
We don’t post any bullshit memes or anything so you can rest easy.
I wept openly upon seeing this update appear.

Could you make a simple news post here explaining what it is, I don't use facebook. Maybe you could post about it in your ModDB profile, as it is related to a mod that was indefinitely postponed and not canceled.
So what's gonna happen to all the stuff you guys did for the mod, are you going to release what you have done.
We nuked all machines involved with the development of the mod as a matter of security.
So project work lost or what, im guessing your being sarcastic though.

What do you guys mean exactly by "not a computer game or mod" ?
That means it won't be build upon a existing game nor will be a new game made from scratch.
...but what about browser based online games? I mean thats kind of unclear if you would consider this a computer game or not by definition.

*sigh* This is why I don't like it when people do 'hints' and stuff. I lose interest, instead of the other way around. TELL ME what you're doing, and I'll decide if I'm interested. Basically telling me you're not telling, makes me shrug and move on.
Well your a bit odd as it is always in human nature to guess and ask question sand so draws people in it has been a marketing technique for years and years, aka curiosity.

sigh? waited for years on this thing being released i thought you guys were waiting till it was so refined, so finished it couldn't be any more polished and you just go and kill it, nothing but a shame? so you basicly put all your time into this and just walk away? FINE! as the gaming industry seem to put thier morals in their back pocket any way seen as EA went and completley destroyed simcity, ubisoft and their complete and utter faileir of assassins creed 3, and this endier ment of the whole gaming industry having a need to put things online, to be played online has brought the gaming industry to its knees, people like me relied on mods to make the good old classics bareable cause the new ones just suck so much ***, and this mod had me realling on every update and you just leave us here with this? GAHHHH!!!! i give up on games im going to find my self a new hobby, gun collecting sounds interesting, mabye i might end up shooting my self in the face!!!! GOOD DAY TO YOU SIRE'S!
