This is the continuation of DAV Train. After getting in the Osprey you think that you are safe and going home but you don't realize that you are being follow by a Apache. Eventually he damages your Osprey and you crash finding yourself on the run again...

Amazing mappack, it's strange no one remembers or talks about it.

For the year 2000 the maps are fantastic, they are great even today. The location variety is impressive, the playtime is decent (longer than an hour), the scripted sequences are not plentiful but the ones here are definitely fun to watch, especially the ones that involve masterfully created brush vehicles moving around.

The only thing I will criticize is the subway train section. You're in a train with zero cover and vortigaunts keep spawning in and instantly zap you. This is especially frustrating when played on Hard difficulty. With quick saves + trial and error I was able to finish the section without losing health. Some also criticize the lack of puzzles, for me it was not a problem at all, not every mod needs to follow HL's formula.

In the end, old-school mapping can't get any better than DAV's levels.

Highly recommended.

DAV levels rock!

This mod offers a lot of the classic Half-Life action without much of a story. Generally, the mod is good. Some of the areas in the mod are uniquely designed.

I encountered one bug, though. While I was in the area with the machine guns firing from the towers, I entered the storage room with ammo and an HEV charger, returned back and when the game was about to start firing one of the machine guns, it crashed. Destroying the machine guns before heading to the storage room fixed the problem and the game worked fine.

Pretty damn great just like DAVTrain and can be very challenging at some points (Last level, and especially the metro train part).

If you played DAVtrain then you should play this one aswell. :)

Theres something about it I love, I would say the level design is top notch and its what separates one hl mod from the other. Its difficulty is high and its long length puts it square above the previous one. Like the last one it has a memorable opening scene. A plane crash is always cool and this one no less.
And like the previous mod it has set pieces I've never seen before in a hl mod, a sub marine and a airplane.
Impressive models and a fun blast through unfamiliar territory.

The train was a pain due to being telefragged more than once, and the occasional explosive crate that has no warning label (>:/) isn't enough to not like this.
There was some minor backtracking for keycards but I never felt as though it was over done.
Lack of story line has never been problem for half-life or its mods so this is why it gets a solid 9 for doing what it did well.

Fantastic level design, good ol' fashioned Nostalgia with well placed enemies and fun gameplay :)

Awesome :D
