You are David, a person in his mid 30's who moved in to Grossenburg, a small estate. He wanted to spend some time in a different place, far away from home. It was short, pretty short and good run, nice puzzles, but maybe too cheap scares.

Anyways I enjoyed it, but way too short, make longer and spend time more on the mapping because that was umm... rushed.

Short but creative story, I like it.

It could have been longer, the description made it sound like there was a lot to this CS and I beat it in around 30 minutes (most trouble I had was trying to find the key for the other key that would unlock the elevator, it was just hard to find because it blended in with the floor it was set on).

I understand that this was done in less than a week so I should have known that it was going to be short (though I didn't see the description here on the site until I finished playing the game), but I'm still let down because it felt like there was a lot of potential for a good story and some good horror related stuff.

I would give this Custom Story a better rating, but I was just sort of let down in how short it was and how I thought it would have more content (though like before, part of that blame is for not noticing how long the project was worked on beforehand). A lot of potential was wasted in the fact that this is supposed to take place in a realm of nightmares, perfect for exposing fears and such.

On a side note/spoiler/fixable bug, at one point you'll be chased by two Brutes, one is a fake. From what it looks like, a chase scene would follow through a streak of hallways. However, in my one and only playthrough I actually had a door opened at just the right angle that the game made the real Brute stuck between the gap of the open door (this was at the very start of the chase right when the Brutes appear, and it's the Brute that comes at you from the way you just came).

It couldn't break down the door because it was wide enough to be considered open by the AI, but at the same time it was closed enough that it couldn't actually break the door down. As I said, a chase scene was likely supposed to happen next, but I honestly had nothing to fear as the monster was stuck in place. It did kill the moment a bit, but I didn't exactly walk the entire way in fear that the Brute would break free. Either I was lucky or this glitch is more possible than some might think.

Not bad, but way too short in my opinion. The scares were there, and the concept was nice, just wish it was longer.

IMO it was too short to get anything going. as in I didn't really care and half the time I couldn't get invested. It was a great idea but the length was the main problem.

I thought the Orb thing was COOL though, but that's just me in general. The music, sounds and jump scares were effective.

Some of the events were predictable.

I think only the idea of it, nightmares are negatively affecting you and you must stop it, id the only thing that really stood out for me. Not much really happened for a nightmare.

It was a short but sweet ride. Only wish I could have seen more.

That's it for me.

A cheap custom story. Yet not one of the worst. Key on the ground, jumpscare, corridor, key on the ground again, button, chase, orb, end. It think this greatly says what this CS is like.

I was a little disappointed in this one. It was too short, no good monster encounters and I absolutely hate screamers. They are no better than flying naked guys.

It was good, but it was just too short... That's all. ;)
