Darkwind RPG - A Hero's Tale is a usermade mod for the well known game Warcraft III the Frozen Throne. This mod will take the player away from the standard strategic real time game and throw him into a 3rd person, isometric filmed roleplay game. Many unique features, custom models, advanced scripting and a interesting story will make Darkwind RPG to an experience you should not miss.
The first versions will be released as singleplayer. Multiplayer version(s) will follow, but differ in some features because of the limitations set by the Warcraft III engine itself.
Last night I decided to add the DW script to the terrainmap I'm currently working on. This will improve my capabilities to create a nice looking and optimized terrain, working fine with the intelligent camera system. Further I'm now able to place the needed pathing correctly, to prevent i.e. a mob running/shooting through a wall.
