Dawn of War: Darkness Within, a linear, story driven campaign mod for Dark Crusade. This is a conglomeration campaign, using and relying on both Compiler’s Inquisition Daemonhunt and KRMZ’s Witch Hunters mods.
6. The world of Kaitan is a ball of tarnished rock and blackened desert enveloped by a waning membrane of methane no longer fit to be called an atmosphere. Unviable for any form of economic development or exploitation and with conditions and prospects that render the foundation of a proper colony largely unfeasible, Kaitan is a dead world orbiting a star fast approaching such a condition in a system that could never truly have been called “alive”. In short, it is a world utterly unremarkable beyond the sheer scale of its desolation. And this, indeed, is precisely what the Inquisition desired when it came to that bleak place, for it is upon the within the cells of the Inquisitorial Fortress of Thronsis that some of the greatest threats to the Imperium have been extinguished, and in its council halls that some of the greatest crises averted, beneath a pall of secrecy borne of apathy. And it is here that, Uther, after one-hundred and fifty years of service to the Inquisition, is elevated to the position of Inquisitor Lord through the nomination of his longtime ally and patron, Lord Grunfeld, and through the sanction of High Inquisitors Laekon and Belius of the Ordo Xenos and Hereticus, respectively.
