Dark Interval is a restoration/revision mod that lets you play Half-Life 2 as it could have been: with custom maps, new voiced dialogue, new models and textures, all based on Valve's early concepts. The mod is released in episodes, the most recent being Dark Interval: Part I - an intro chapter to the bigger story.

Improvement indeed, but I think it could use more infestation. Maybe even make it look something like a jungle of Xen and earth fauna and fungi. It could even add a minor gameplay element.

Cool. Needs more detail especially the background though to make the place a bit not empty.

Houndeyes and Bullsquids... Enemies that haven't encountered in the retail release of Half-Life 2 is on this mod. One of Valve's unique enemies due to some of their traits.

Mod is cool but i would really love to see classic skybox on levels like in half life 2 beta that green one because of toxin in air

Woah...I agree with the hype of this image. All I can say is the the area outside of the canal seems too empty and kills the illusion just a bit.
