C reatures came out
of what seemed to be thin air animated and alive. They came without a
warning and swept the world. It is during this time I find myself here,
in my appartment, alone.

Q. Do I need Episode 2 or the Orange box for this mod ?
A. Yes you do. I've decided to go for episode two for now, with epsiode three on its way, I'm not sure yet.
Q. So 1187 is a single player based modification ?
A Yes it is, It's going have alot of scenes and a background story.
Q. When will the mod be released?
A. When it's finished.
Q. When does this mod takes place withing the half life universe ?
A. Sometime prior to the seven hour war.
Q. Will there be voice-acting and/or any scenes in the mod?
A. Yes, I've got one main npc character announced that will be by your side for a great part of the game.
Q. Can i help?
A. That all depends on what you can do. Give me a PM and we'll have a chat.
I've set up a comunity group, It'll be alot easier
getting into contact with us there, since it's member based. Also I'll
be putting up images there and info that I won't show here. It's for
those who want to really get into the mod more. Also I hope to have it
grow in time, but hey, just check it out it's not much yet. Hope to see

I figured it's time for yet
another update. I've been polishing some of the first maps some more.
Created a few more night textures to try and make the second map a bit
more alive, although still trying to have a somewhat deserted feeling.
S o what else has happened. Well most
of you probably noticed us being interviewed, but for those who haven't
yet here it is. I also want to mention that I've set up a ModDB group

R ecently after a chat with Xenos I
realised the story wasn't 100% true to what supposed to have happened
in hl2's storyline. Ofcourse I took off with this and the new small
change actually is going to be rather awesome. Well that's it for now.
I want to thank everyone, the good and the bad, for their feedback. I
always try to take in critisism in a decent way. Making a mod is
incredibly demanding, and I know alot of you guys acknowledge that and
that's also why I do this. Ofcourse it's awesome to make a mod but in
the end I do it not just for me but for other half-life 2 fans around.
I hope people will apreciate the end
result when we're done. and I hope you'll enjoy the screeens in the
meantime. They won't spoil anything, because heh. the stuff I show are
usually wip maps. At certain points ill decline with screenshot,
specially lateron. we all know about john being a npc tjat tags along
with you for greater parts of them. You guys know roughly where it
takes place. you guys have no idea about what's going to happen though.
Those are the things that I won't show off. except for some map
screenshots and some weapons I won't spoil anything. so I hope you guys
will enjoy the progress. It's a blast working with the guys who are
helpin me out. This mod's becomming somuch more I could hope for
already.
