Daedalus is a science fiction mod set in 2135. In the single-player game, one assumes the role of Alex Calveres, the captain of a deep-space exploration vessel with a motley crew of characters that are different in every sense but work together well. An employee for the Orion Federal Conglomorate, Alex was told to break his usual schedule of exploration and patrol to deliver a government package to a research facility in a distant star system. The single-player story begins on Earth where you are told of your unusual mission, when you arrive at the station you discover that a horrible and sinister catastrophy has occured, and the station is adrift in a now devastated star system, you travel over to the stricken station to investigate and what you find out ends up throwing one's character into a search for answers and truth. I feel i must apologise about the continuous delays with regards the Alpha, it is unfortunate that it keeps getting pushed back, because im sure its release will encourage more people to want to work for Daedulus. The manpower shortage we have at the moment is being felt mostly in the textures and models

I feel i must apologise about the continuous delays with regards the Alpha, it is unfortunate that it keeps getting pushed back, because im sure its release will encourage more people to want to work for Daedulus. The manpower shortage we have at the moment is being felt mostly in the textures and models department, with mapping being a problem also. Anyway we steam ahead with production and hope to get it out to team members very soon, with an extensive media update to accompany it for those of you vividly following the development of our MOD.
