Curse episodes is an egyptian themed action/ horror/ puzzle/ exploration FPS where you can kill mummies, evil wizards with a huge spiky club and break expensive egyptian furniture and pottery using telekinesis!

There IS a new HUD, it's just not all that different. Moddb.com Not a problem for me though, it's really, really minor when you consider how good the rest of the game looks. At least it doesn't say "suit" anymore. :p
Don't try to fix what ain't broken! The stock HL2 HUD does a good job. But the adjusted transparent layer and the Font do a great job in immersing the player nonetheless.

Fantastic mod that hardly feels like a mod at all. Should focus more on puzzles a bit and make the combat a bit more challenging then just put more time into it over all and attempt to sell it as I'd definitely pay. Best released mod of 2008 and 2009 so far imho Great work guys 10/10

Although thanks for fooling me. I was scared of the Wormdemon when I first encountered him because the introduction video made it appear he kills you instantly.
where can i find the wormdemon? Do i have to unlock all green chambers?
The first time I encountered him was after going into the second Red Chamber. When Nightmare Mode is activated, the Red Chamber doors open.
Also: It appears that the Wormdemon uses the Antlion Guard's AI. In fact, I think I even heard a sound from it.
Nonetheless, well done. I just finished it.

Great work, I realy enjoy playing this unusual mod. Graphic aspect is clean and rich enough, gameplay and leveldesign are good too and well balanced. I feel the combat system a bit frustrating because of the auto lock, but as fights are very quick, not so important. I did find the boss on this first play, strange to be able to finish the episode without fighting them, it's more secrets than boss :)

But it's funny, I couldn't find any mention of Curse on the front page of Fileplanet even on the day of release (yesterday), whereas a day before they were promoting the Curse trailers. I eventually went to Curse's website for official word and found the link to the download through there.
In the end, was it worth the trouble of delaying the game, exclusive via Fileplanet, "so they could give the biggest possible exposure to the mod"?
