A Gauss rifle which has been modified by an expert duty engineer at a classified secure location. The weapon has a faster rate of fire than the standard Gauss rifle and is also significantly lighter, finished off with a combat ready corrosion resistant paint-job.
This weapon is issued to members of elite duty fire-squads who have undergone special training to handle & maintain the weapon correctly. A record is kept of all soldiers issued with this weapon & they are also fitted with tracking devices to prevent them from being captured by the enemy.
