because that would delay the release by a year
We develop this mod in our spare free time. It took 6 years for the team of Digital Anvil to create the original Freelancer. We dont have that many people working on Crossfire which is meanwhile more than 4 times as complex as the original game and we dont have 6 years that we can spend working on it.
Most of the stuff in CF is originally created by us... but not everything. I personally can live with that.
it tooks 6 years because the guy in charge kept adding new feature ideas :)
LOL, if i can fly that thing i don't really care. Either origional or from other games/movies ect, more ship types both flyable or not make this game special.
And the guy in charge of the origional game didn't suggest enough additional features XD
