The main purpose of this modification is to create a port version of Counter-Strike 1.6. Which means that the whole game will be ported over to the Source Engine. I will port all sounds, models, effects, materials and other. And configure them to work with the Source Engine. If what i have just stated still is a bit confusing to you then basically what i am doing is creating a Half-Life: Source version of Counter-Strike 1.6. So that Counter-Strike 1.6 will get the updated features such as updated water, shaders, models, textures and much more.
Hello again, it is me, Aulov Nikolay Georgievich. Today i would like present to you the twelve beta version of my straight port of Counter-Strike 1.6 to the Source Engine, called Counter-Strike 1.6: Source.
In this release you will see the modified blood drop, blood gore and blood cloud effects. It works on both ragdoll and trace attack. Here is the video about this feature.
How To Install.
1.)Download "game.rar" archive in provided above link.
2.)Once it finished downloading, download "WinRAR" program. Here is the link of this "WinRAR" program.
3.)Once the downloading of the "WinRAR" program finished, install it.
4.)Open the downloaded before "game.rar" archive with "WinRAR" program.
5.)You will see the "game" folder in this "game.rar" archive.
6.)Extract it, for example, to your Desktop.
7.)Open extracted "game" folder.
8.)You will see the file, called "csport.bat".
9.)Double left-click on it.
To change the screen resolution, open "csport.bat" with Notepad and edit "-width 1600 -height 900" to the screen resolution you want. Right now it sets on 1600x900 pixels resolution.
