Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.

Here is a sneak peek at what to expect for the Campaign. Made in Adobe After Effects CS5 by me (lil tasman). All briefings will look like this, but respective color tint by what faction you are.

Thanks! I tried for a satellite effect like in COD 4 Briefings.
"Searching for GLA" is a bit cheesy though, maybe something like "Scanning for hostiles" or "Gathering Intelligence". Something like that would be a bit cooler in my opinion. But otherwise great job! :D

scanning for benelovent biological and mechanical entities
perhaps a scanner effect like on sonars or rippling circles. and a font change would be nice, it seems out of place in comparison to the rest of the graphics
the scanner reticle should also be moving around rapidly and there should be grid lines in the map so it may look like CoD4. and yeah scanning for hostiles (scanning for hostile activity would be somewhat fitting), hostile activity detected should be the text appearing there. and the font should look more digital than type written.

It's not Google Earth, Google Earth was too low resolution. I used other satellite images off of the internet.
