Conflict of the Eagles is a March of the Eagles mod that spans the early 21st century. With a start date of 2005 ranging all the way until 20XX, the mod has a tri-pronged focus on economics, politics and recent history. The player must take control of any nation, insurgency or group having existed in Europe/MENA and play the difficult game of balancing the demands of the army, the populace, the clergy and the bureaucrats. Conflict of the Eagles breaks ground with huge improvements over the March of the Eagles engine. Economics, Politics, ideologies, realistic civil wars, proxy wars and supra-national entities have all been hacked in via detailed and difficult coding.
The United States have been implemented in COTE by allowing for the NAES to be a part of the new map. The amount of provinces in the US and Canada are highly condensed to represent the huge amount of land owned off-screen.
