Try to launch it but I print screen the error that flashed up for half a second. (On the command promp)
Says "Steam.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file."
Tried re-downloading and fresh install twice. Sure it is a quick fix with the notepad text the launcher uses. My steam is installed on my C drive while my COH is on the other drive. Works fine (Normal game) but might be a different path I need to type into the notepad.
Any ideas?
AFAIK both Steam and CoH need to be installed in the same (C) drive for the batch file to work. It might work with modification, but I'm not the guy to ask. :P
Try posting on the forums to see if one of the other devs has any idea. You might end up having to install CoH on your C drive if you want to play the mod.

Do i need all the COH games with DLC or just the COH new steam edition?
Um, does this not work with Windows 8? Because when I double click the .bat file it simply doesn't work, ONCE it opened and then closed before it showed up. I do have steam.

Change your graphic shader setting to "High".
Hey I have been trying to play a game with a friend and whenever he tries to join it says he has the wrong version and we both have 1.019. Can someone help? Thanks.
It's likely that one of you installed 1.019 without uninstalling older mod files first.
Both of you should try running the uninstaller (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch\Modern Combat Uninstaller.bat) and then re-extracting the mod. See if that works.
While installing the mod I'm not able to launch the .bat files "Modern Combat Launcher" and "Modern Combat Launcher Cheat Mod". Someone can help me?

Ah, well that would be why the.bat files aren't working then.
Edit them with Notepad and replace "Steam.exe -applaunch 228200" with "RelicCOH.exe". I'm interested to see if this works.

im using steam version and i downloaded 1.019 but there is no installer,and when i try to run the modern combat launcher.bat then it will just close and when i run the game its still ww2

Steam will automatically update CoH to the latest official patch.
You can still use non-Steam disc versions of CoH, but you'll need to perform a small workaround with the shortcut (see the bottom of this page for details: Coh-moderncombat.com).
Will this mod work on non steam versions of the game. because I have it on disk and a pirate software version, will the mod work on any of these?

I've been having trouble, i got it downloaded and the files in the right spots but when i attempt to launch it, the command prompt pops up for about a split second then poof its gone. and nothing happens. If you could help that would be great thanks!

hi guys is there something wrong with the full version 1.019, i downloaded like 10x already but it will stop at 335k MB and it says unexpected end of archive, my internet connection is good btw.
Why is it a RAR file?
Usually if you have to upload folders, you put it in rar/zip, any archive file. Various reasons, one of which is smaller size. Not to mention that some sites does not support uploading folders.
The mod is dead now?
Is there any torrent download of the mod?

I may be dumb AF, but how do i install Full Version 1.019?? there is no exe. file?
Version 2.602 (non-Steam):
1. Browse to your ‘Company of Heroes’ root folder (for example, “C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes”).
2. Right-click on “RelicCOH.exe” and select “Copy”.
3. On your desktop, right-click and select “Paste shortcut”.
4. Right-click on the shortcut and add the suffix ” -dev -mod ModernCombat (preceded by a space) to the target line. For example: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch\RelicCOH.exe” -dev -mod ModernCombat
You now have a fully-functional shortcut. You can rename it if you want, or set it up with the custom Modern Combat icon provided to you:
“Company of Heroes Relaunch\ModernCombat\coh-mc_shortcut_icon.ico”
