Every time i install it says "source file not found, C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\BSS Modern Combat Dev Team\Modern Combat 1.015\install\disk1.cab, verify the file exists and that you can access it" I don't know what happens.

I haven't changed to steam yet but I already have modern combat installed, should I like, delete it and redownload this one for steam?will it not work if I switch to steam on the current version
uh also, to uninstall, do I just delete the folder in there and the four modules?
Yeah, you just have to delete all that (and there should be 5 module files, not just 4).
You should download the new steam relaunch 2.700 version if possible, but if you can only play 2.602 right now then that's fine too. Just change the installation directory when prompted. :)

So, ive downloaded the modern combat mod and evert=ything is ok except i cant find the launcher for the mod. Ive checked in all the files and ive even tried launching the game but i cant figure out how to actually play without the Shortcut launcher.

good mod but uneven. The U.S. military is weak. In the future balance
Whenever I play the campaign or multiplayer there seems to be a weird graphical glitch that happens. I can't really explain it but it looks like the mesh on some of the units starts to freak out andcovers the whole screen when you look at them. Any fix for it?
Set your graphics shader setting to "high".
Hello, so I've downloaded the mod, created my shortcut, game launches just fine. However when I try for a skirmish, it gets stuck on the loading screen for it. Then after a while it says an error occurred.
Not sure of what I did wrong, since there really wasn't much to do. Help would be appreciated. =)

Hey, I've just installed this mod to the "Company of Heroes Relaunch" steam folder and I seem to be missing an exe to actually start the game? I just ran the installer and it has all worked fine.. is there something I am missing or I need to do next. (I am new to this mod so I haven't a clue)
I Just Read the above comments and am a little confused.. do I replace the RelicCOH.exe? what happens if I do that will it replace the original COH with Modern Combat or what? just a tad confused a little clarification would be greatly appreciated

The installer was created from scratch after the recent crash and is still WiP, which is why it couldn't create a shortcut of its own in 1.015.
We're improving it as we go however. :)
The installer says that it is missing disc1?

My vehicle icons no longer show up during battle on the main screen, while my infantry unit icons still appear (so basically I see the vehicle, but there is no blue "badge" over it with the icon of the vehicle inside). Is this a client-side problem?

I'm pretty sure there have never been vehicle icons in CoH except those on the taskbar?
after you download the mod, how do you play it?
Create a shortcut to RelicCOH.exe (located in your CoH root folder).
Right-click on the shortcut and go to "Properties", then add "-dev -mod -ModernCombat" to the end of the target line. Make sure you put a space beforehand.
I've put the shortcut up but it keeps playing Opposing Fronts (yes I read the instructions)
Can you post up your shortcut's target line so I can check it?

Is there a different form of installer?
1 I tried to install and I received this:"this installation is forbidden by system policy. contact your system administrator"
I installed other mods, like the EF mod, just fine.

Guys when I play the game every thing is fine except I can't see the infantry when I zoom out or when they are abit away from me when I move away the position. All I see is floating heads. :/

the correct string must be:
"Properties", then add "-dev -mod ModernCombat"
You don't have to do this with 1.016, are you sure you and your friend both have the same version?
Honestly, **** this ****. When I finish the instalation, nothing happens. I search for the mod, then I can't find it. I've tried and tried, but now I quit. Wish you guys had a better instalation folder like EF or BK or EIRR.
Did you try your CoH root folder? There should be a launcher BAT in there.
Hmm its pretty big, have you thought about making a separate launcher for the extra stuff to be added onto the launcher if needed?
We included an updater with 1.016, which will allow us to release much smaller patches in future.
how can i install the patch if i have downdloaded it manually?
