make sure to run the mod as administrator. To do this you need to click on the launcher with your right mousebutton and then choose "run as admin"

i have the same problem, but befor ei start it says that there is an error in XML file (1.2) -.-
XML error is unimportant. It just means that due to the overwhelming interest in our mod our webserver is still offline and the launcher cannot download the news...

For people who use Steam and have the problem of non working Start button in our launcher. Mr. Shotgun reported this could help:

Ok I figured out the problem of the start button not working.
It seems that installing "Tales of Valor" from Steam messes up some files of the original COH.
I bought it all from Steam and to fix this you must "verify integrity of game cache...". of the original COH.
You can find this by right-clicking COH in Steam, Properties (bottom of list), Local Files, Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
I hope this helps some people out.

the shortcut for starting the mod i make it mi self!
on mi xp pc is running very good no problems at all
i will tray to re download the files on the laptop i think the content was corupted
i am talking about the launcher taht should be used to run the mod, as described here:

Self created shortcuts will work for now too, no worries. But in the future you won't be able to patch, because that is all done automatically through the launcher.
the mod is great, nice animation only one thing

The file you download is just the selfextractor, which automatically will also install the launcher. Once again take a look into the guide i linked above. It explains exactly where you can find the launcher, including pictures.

We had a selfinstaller solution, but ran into problem on short notice. We could have delayed it, but we decided to release it this way so people could start already, while we work on a better solution.

I downloaded it on Torrent when I opened the file up. IT says that it is a MALICIOUS file. I don't know if it is really malicious, But any confirmation that it has some virus?

when i play i cant selct the faction and it looks the same as the vanhllia version. also it crashes saying ai error or something like that
you need to have one of the expansions Opoosing Fronts or Tales of Valor, and your game needs to be patched to 2.602
O well i guess ill buy it or something anyways thanks for the help

Hello, I seem to be having a problem with the launcher. When ever I start it I get the XML error which I know is unimportant to play the game but, there is no button that lets me start the game itself. If you could get back to me with the a solution if I have to re-download or something it would be greatly appreciated.

Im not sure what is going on, but whenever I install the game, it always fails to add the launcher dll... is there something im missing?
