271st Tank Brigade was formed shortly before the invasion on USA.
Back then it was equipped with newly designed AR-3 (Alexander Romanov-3) "Rhino" tanks (see "AR-3 Rhino" for more info)
They were in the first wave of invasion and spearheaded the assault on New York, Chicago, L.A. Washington and Norfolk. After the Philadelphia uprising, they started to be called "Bear Brigade", for their tactics.
Main doctrine of the 271st was straighforwarded attack, no hiding. Pure power and armor. And it was quite useful as they ironed with their tank about 1/3 of USA, leaving only burning hulks of their enemies forces.
Turning point occured about one year before the ending of the war, when they were caught in the Texas desert by US airforce. A group of about 40 Harriers II and 100 rocketeers turned 271st Brigade into a scrap metal in an hour or so. Their AA support was later found in the nearest city, having a camp. Commander of AA division was executed for incompetence.
Only 10% of the Bear Brigade survived the assault. Despite the traditional merging with other brigades, all survivors were sent back to motherland, and there, attached to the military and tank schools, where they've rised new generation of tankists.
After the war ended, they were assigned to the ITMO Design Bureau, where they've worked as testers and consultants on newly designed object 640 "Black Raven" tank. As a result they got tough tank, with more than average firepower, and which was more agile than AR-3 or any other old tank.
At the beginning of a new war, 271st Tank Brigade was formed again, consisting of old veterans, and new gifted tankists, rised by them. They were armed with the tanks they helped to developed.
Now they unofficially called "Raven Flock", although they utilize the same strategy as "Bear Brigade" and cary its pride further.

Вот ещё мои соображения по повод мода:Неплохо было бы для каждой доктрины свои генеральские способности(если это возможно конечно),например авиа удары и десант+воздушная разведка для авиационной доктрины.
Огнемётный "Апокалипсис" танковой доктрины ИМХО не впечатлил.Я несколько минут пытался уничтожить с его помощью обычного ГЛАшного техника пока к последнему не подошло подкрепление и дорогущий Апок не разнесли в клочья.
Присутствуют кое-какие дефекты в анимации моделей солдат(например смерти у ракетчика).Модель "Апокалипсиса" авиационной доктрины не мешало бы под корректировать(ИМХО торчащие с башни как рога ракеты не смотрятся)лучше дать ему ракетную установку как у "Мамонта" или "Апокалипсиса" из RA2.
Насчет поддержек, будет по 2 поддержки каждой доктрины (2 танковых, 2 авиа, 2 пехотных) но будут доступны для всех доктрин. Огнеметный апок нужен в основном для поддержки войск при уничтожении пехтуры. Ракеты у авиа-апока - копия тех что стоят на адской гончей. как то так... но я подумаю что можно сделать
Ещё могу посоветывать поменять голос которым объявляет о завершении улучшений.Я играл в ту версию второг редалерта из которой взята эта озвучка.И там она меня сильно бесила(настолько что я напроч вырубал весь звук),ну а здесь же как только я её услышал меня разоббрал смех(минуты на две наверное) незнаю ночеу но как бы то ни было на нормальный "рабочий" лад она не нстраивает.Уменя где-то был RA2 с боле-мене приемлимой озвчкой если надо могу поискать.А так в торентах.
было бы неплохо если бы кинул овзучку эту. я просто засунул пока что то что было) "Объект улучшен!"
Хорошо сейчс посмотрю(если только я никуда не дел этот диск).Куда тебе удобнее выложить озвучку и какие файлы в RA2 за неё отвечают?(я не слишком силён в этом деле)
Большинство старых наработок.Я уже писал по этому поводу.Могу так же добавить кое-какие комментарии с redsys.ru из темы посвящённой этому моду которую я там создал(не сказать что там много лестных замечаний и я со всем согласен но подумать есть над чем).
На редсисе читал, в основном всем не нравятся текстуры, увы других пока нет и сделать их нет не лишних рук не времени) может быть потом
