CI is a Half-Life 2 modification that centers around the events directly after Half-Life 2 (during/after the Episodics).
This is a design I thought up of for our HUD. It is still in concept and this does not necessarily represent the final iteration. All current HUD Elements are represented in this diagram. See the Update for more information.
Seems a bit cramped in my opinion D: Perhaps if you made the tasklist openable by the press of a key rather than always present?
Yeah that was my main concern when I was making and testing it, there is quite a bit of screen covered. I toyed around with the idea of making the task list area more transparent, maybe around 60 to 85% so that view space was not lost.
But the idea of this is to promote that you are inside a helmet, as to why there would be a helmet at all, I will cover that closer to release
I may figure out something further on down the road, maybe an animated thing where this section pops out when the task list is opened.
Eh, I like it. Halo and Battlefront had screens filled to a good bit with content, but they were still clear enough to use.
I always liked HUDs likes this and this one looks pretty good
I agree. The task list may be a little big, but how many tasks are you really going to have to do? I don't think it would end up taking up a large space.
