AK101s don't have ACOGs! They don't even have rails!(Except custom/special versions), which this is not. And it's just not my personal taset for an AK. Just doesn't work for me personally. However, the M4 in the next pic is AWESOME! For a solution: They could have added a PSO scope for instance?
They do have original Ak rail mounts taht attach to the side of the gun and then you have a rail on top, or a Rail that comes from a custom foregrip with rails... You can mount anything then.
As you said, 'special' versions do have rails, so nothing wrong with this. Besides, this is Combat, accuracy and realism is not the goal (having fun is).
yes you can have rails >.< ak's have a reputation for not having rails because you could buy them so cheap in some spots so guerillas use them A LOT because it's so cheap. For people who actually know how to effectively use an AK then they would have attachments such as rails, scopes, handles, quad rail systems, etc. COD and them are gonna have to get those ideas from some place...oh wait it's called reality

There aren such rails for the ak platform. You should do some research before doing something wrong.

Do some reasearch on the Ak-x10 series (Which the Ak-101 is apart of) they have built in rails....
Not on the top. You can add a side mount that comes over the top, but it doesn't have a rail unless you get one drilled in
