Hi,
Somes peoples says they have models/bugs textures.
I've check again your screenshots and i see no texture bug. The textures or models who are in error ingame (please continue to send me screenshots of bug that you encounter) are native half-life 2 (ep1/EP2) textures/models.
Please be sure you have "half-life 2 : Episode 2" installed. If bug are not solved be sure "Half-Life 2" and "Half-Life 2 : Episode One" are installed too.

I just finished the mod. Over-all, EXCELLENT! Had a good time playing it. If I have a nit-pik it's this: Near the end, the box under the bunk-bed... Come on man, LOL! I finally had to break down to find a walk-through because I could not find the "thing"! smbxmcgm on YouTube was gracious enough to have one uploaded.
I was expecting yet another average mod, but to my surprise was one of the best ep2 mods I have played. Deserves to be in hall of fame. Very well thought out, story line was easy to follow and unlike a lot of mods not over the top. Not only was it an epic adventure, everything from the smallest details to the grandest scenery was professionally done. What separates this mod from most is that it MAKES SENSE. From the times when you feel stuck to the combat scenes are all well done. Not one problem from start to finish and smooth as silk. Great work, hope to hear more from these developers that get it.
Hello! I love this mod. The gameplay is fantastic! However, I'm stuck and need some help. I'm at the part where I'm told to return to my bedroom in the secret base. I'm in the bedroom and nothing is happening. I've tried to interact with every item in the room but nothing happens. Did I miss a gameplay trigger somewhere? [EDIT: Never mind. I realize that I missed the last part of an in-game message that answered my question].
Finally got around to giving it a go, wonderful job despite some nitpicks which I detailed in my review.
You also used a lot more modern assets from Black Mesa and Left 4 Dead which is rarely seen in HL2 modding and I think it was done accordingly except for the main characters lavishly furnished apartment for a Combine Occupation.

I've played this already and want to play it again please yes EP2 big respect.
Very nice mod! But I have a problem with it. The textures are all without shadows, all too bright. This happened with a few mods also. All other mods, incl. Half Life 2, Half Life 2 - ep. 1 and 2 are really good playable. If someone has a solution, I would be very thankful. Greetings.
maybe better of checking your custom folders in HL2, EP1 EP2, check gameinfo.txt you may need to update the search paths.
Hi, check all half life 2 games files.
Into game or mod (like Combat-Alpha) into folder "maps" delete "graphs"
Restart steam, launch game, start new game or open console and launch a map (graphs will be generate again at new map start.)
Is there a way to turn off the background music?
This story looked like it might be interesting. However, the background music was so distracting that I had to quit early. While some mods occasionally ignore the "Music volume" Audio Option for brief parts of their stories, Combat-Alpha Ep.1 appears to completely disregard this setting.

For real i've never tested with "music volume off".
You can simply delete musics into the sounds folder.
The music is fine. I've had this problem from day one with some pink textures showing through even a little on the background bsp too. I can get rid of them by mounting HL2 episode 1, but i lose the weapons, goes back to default, maybe i could create a custom folder in your mod and point the game info to it.?
