In the nineteenth century, an occultist named William Carter discovers gateways to other places in time and space. Reality starts collapsing around him, slowly melting into nameless cosmic horrors. As he tries to understand his visions and find a way to stop them, he will see that he is not the first to make that journey, and that those who came before him brought back to Earth demented things that would have been better left alone.
Description
The download for Collapsed Cosmos : The Silver Key ! Slightly patched so that the last map is a bit less confusing and that no one gets stuck. To play, simply extract the content of the archive in the custom_story folder located in your Amnesia-The Dark Descent installation. If it's not there, simply create it in the redist folder for CD users / Amnesia The Dark Descent for Steam users ^^.

I am finally downloading it! Going to try it as soon as I move it to my Amnesia folder :D... So exciting!
I'll come back with a review on this awaited mod.
I just descended into the first floor of the library. The nervousness is starting to set in! Can't wait to keep playing. One critique I have is the grammar in some of the notes: a couple misspelled words here and there. Other than that, so far so good! Excited for the first monster encounter!

I'd recommend this to everyone looking for a well made custom story without unnecessary jump-scares!
At first I thought it's a great story and never did I feel my interest decrease like I usually can on certain occasions playing other stories. Decent and just enough rooms and puzzles to keep your mind on at a time.
But what really got me hooked was when I noticed this was inspired by and had references to H.P. Lovecraft. I had to finish it in one run, might've taken me 2½ hours or more.
I sincerely enjoyed this, especially the second half of it. It was fascinating and interesting.

Very nice mod.The game crashes after I jump across those library shelfs and get that library key from the second floor. :(
What mods do you have installed ? The issue might be an incoherence between files from different mods.

Almost every time I try to download a custom story,it tries to open in photo viewer. Someone help me please?
Try downloading winrar, and right-clicking => open with winrar ?
