This mod for the game "Space Hulk Ascension" creates new playing experiences by redesigning all Chapters so they play in different and unique ways.


Installation:

This mod requires beta version 1.4.2b2-14263 "public_test" of Space Hulk Ascension. Do not use it with the non-beta version of the game. Go to Space Hulk Ascension/Properties/Beta tab to install the beta version. Also see the picture at the end of this text.


Short version
Unpack the archive into your game diectory. That should place all files in the correct locations.

Long version
Files need to be in the following directories:

file directory

*.assets game_Data
level* game_Data
*.dll game_Data\Managed
*.png game_Data\StreamingAssets

For standard installations, the game directory is in this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Space Hulk Ascension

I also just realized the buff for the thunder hammer crusher only applies to the hammer not the shield as it does not say anything on the shield so i believe you have a 35% chance to hit while still only having a 20% defense chance.

For some reason when I downloaded this it wasnt in zip file form it was in a 7Z File format. I tried converting to zip then extracting it to the directory but either way sending it directly or having a zip then extracting it it still dosent work. I have beta enabled and downloaded the latest version. Any idea why it isnt working?

It is a good mod thanks for helping me get it to work but i was just wondering why did you nerf thunder hammer and storm shield so much? I mean the highest one you unlock only gives you 20% defence and 15% attack. It is pretty bad for both accounts at the level you unlock it considering the talon claws give 35% with 2 attacks and 30% attack depending on the one. Just wondering why it seems like you were trying to go for a little of both but it just makes it so you die faster if you are attacking or defending.

Thunder Hammer Crusher and Storm Shield Pavise give +15/+20 in the unmodded game. The mod does not change that. What it does change is that hammer/shield combinations inflict an additional point of damage. That is a buff in my book.

The mod changes the last set of Lightning Claws from +35 attack to +35 defense to match the description. That makes them identical to Wolf Claws Skoll.

ah ok i thought they were nerfed as i thought with it stating there being a 25% buff it would have been closer to that or higher. Thanks

In the unmodded game, displayed stats for TH/SS and LC variants are wrong. Your memory may be right and it says +25 or more. Only the game gives incorrect information.
