Extremely good. One of my favorite World War II movies, and had the OP not given away his reference before I saw it he would have been shocked ;)
This movie is packed with an all-star cast of British and American actors. It may have some German stars as well but I know nothing about German actors from the 70's or whenever this movie was made.

I still think the best War movie (WW2 at least) Was definitley Band of Brothers. Or Enemy at the Gates is another good one.

Crew Beards are an upgrade, they conceal more guns.

Lewis Guns on a few, mostly they had more Vickers G.O MG's or Browning .50 Cals.

I know the answer to that, if you look closely to the description of the picture you will find who's the owner of the model, neither Blitzkrieg nor Eastern Front.
I think you should enjoy both mods and stop thinking who was more original :P.

in reply to the conversation regarding war movies, saving private ryan is one of the most unrealistic war movies i have ever seen, as it is set on d-day and just after it, there where no german armoured divisions on the american side of the peninsula except a small conscript regiment equipped with obsolete french tanks that were captured in 1940 and these were almost complety destroyed on d-day by overwelming allied air supieority, this means no tigers, no panthers or any german armour worth mentioning. The British and the Canadians bore the brunt of the Panzer Lehr, 12th SS Hitlerjugend and the 21st Panzer Divisions, this is why the British took so long to take Caen and the surrounding area's and you americans had a sweet ride all the way to Cherbourg because of no real armored opposition. Rant over
