This is a rough overview about the changes I did in Alpha 0.5

The important changes are:

  • Asian AI is working! It uses command and standard abilities, build units and uses them mostly correctly (in endgame was a bug that the ai doesn't build anymore [it was also in Far East], it should be fixed)
  • replaced buggy asian infantry models with proper asian models to reduce the amount of crashes caused by that specific issue (unfortunately, this crash is not fixed completly)
  • all buggy asian tanks and buildings are limited so that only one can be build at the same time (it only helps if only one chinese and one japanese faction is on the battlefield, if more chinese or japanese plays it is possible to have more than one buggy tank on the battlefield --> causes the error --> can cause a crash faster --> only solution until now: I put them out completly or you just play with one chinese and japanese faction at the same time)
  • the mod fusion is now way more blitzkrieg-ish, also some fixes in dmg-system
  • flamethrowers burns an area (the greater the flamthrower the bigger the area)
  • mortar damage against tanks reduced

    USA:

  • nearly all main buildings which produce units has the new build-menu
  • added the M4A3 and M4A3E8 Sherman
  • added 12 new command abilities, 4 for each tree


    British:

  • the infantry and armor hq has the new build-menu
  • "new" units and tanks are buildable (Churchill MKVII + Croc, Churchill and Cromwell with a 95mm canon, Archer MKI)

    Ostheer:

  • Alpinis should have the correct skin
  • fixed the unvisible flamethrower of the strafbataillon (penal battalion)

    China:

  • standard ressource income slighty pushed up
  • removed the donkey rider --> causes the crash bug too
  • replaced the command ability of the donkey rider with a sowjet reinforcement ability
  • two different types of abilities to spawn sowjet guerilla troops (off-map reinforcement and spawn out of ambient buildings)
  • sowjet guerilla has new ability (command upgrade is needed) --> if they capture a strategic point with the ability, the player gains 300MP
  • standard infantry can now be upgraded twice with three different weapons (Boys AT, Rifle Grenades, LMG)
  • engineers can now be upgraded with flamethrower

    Japan:

  • standard ressource income slighty pushed up
  • standard infantry can now be upgraded twice with three different weapons (Boys AT, Flamethrower, LMG)
  • pioneers can now be upgraded with flamethrower
  • pioneers speak japanese (first phrases)


    And much more I don't know anymore. I will add new changes later.

Anyways, good job sir, I see you're still on the job. I'm currently tracking and anticipating the mod.

BTW are there any news about the EF mod permission?
