This mod is to correct some weakness for the Brittish and the Panzer Elite. Replace some units, with new ones. The plne is to replace the Light AT Halftrack with Panzer III L variant and the Mortar Halftrack with the Panzerwehr. With some artillery the PE can counter the american airdrops and the British Stuart. For the British they get the Matilda II MBT. Removal the Hotchkiss tank from the Panzer Elite, I don't know why they put a French tank to the germans. More new units for the Britiish will come, to balance the gameplay.

- Deutche Afrika Korps
Lack of heavy tanks, can build 88 milimeter gun without doctrine, can call in Field Marshall Erwin Rommel from off map (Blitz for the units in the sector).
- LSSAH
Elite units, but expensive, can build Tiger Tank, Stormtroopers without doctrine.
- Desert Rats
Matilda, Crusader, Valentine tanks. Can call in Montgomery from off map, providing defensive bonus in the sector.
- The Red Army
Cheap, but mass prduced units. T-34, IS Stalin tank, KV Tank, Elite snipers.
And much more. Factions are in development.

hey i know this is a wierd place to ask but im getting a new laptop for christmas and i need to know if company of heroes, the origanal with no mods on it has british online or is that in tales of valor, or opposing fronts, thanks guys
also do you need the first one to play opposing fronts like expansion packs or arnt these ones expansions

so as the question below does ToV have pe and british in skirmish and online, just making sure before i buy :)
If you buy Tales of Valor, you can play all factions in multiplayer.
However in singleplayer you can'tplay all campaigns, exept you buy the original games.

awsome, yeah im doing research in school on world war one but will be going onto world war 2, so if you want i could try and help with vehicles like tanks and how powerful there shells would be, and the armor of coarse ;)

1. you have to own opposing front to play as the british and the P.E.
2. opposing fronts is , as with all company of heroes expansions, a stand alone expansion, so you dont need to own the original to play.
so what about tales of valor, doesn't that have the british and pe in it just has a bit more in, and thanks for answering ;)

I do hope you know the germans did use alot of repainted captured tanks, such as the renault, or the hotchkiss.... you're just making yourself sound like an idiot going "I don't know why they put a French tank to the germans." (also you can't spell I guess or use proper grammar...)
also it doesn't sound like you're changing anything much in this....
also why is it placed here in normal CoH rather than CoH opposing fronts where everybody actually looks...

Yes, but with the hotchkiss the Germans didn't actually use them for fighting, they used them for radio and command vehicles
That's why I called "test mod". Not alpha, or beta, or 1.0. anyhow its an early concept, what will the mod look like.
I play this test mod with the Panzer Elite and this faction has a stuart light tank in the panzerkommand edifice and after I play with british, and they have a stug IV in the tank truck.

The Matilda MK.2 is far more superior to Panzer 3. I choose this when I read about the North Africa Campaign. And yes it will be compatible.
Heres the advantages over the matilda that the panzer 3 has:
1. Faster.
2. Power to weight ratio.
3. Caliber.
4. Velocity.
5. Lighter.
6. Hull gunner.
7. Numbers.
8. Designed earlier.
9. Suspention.
So as you can plainly see as the matilda was inferior and unable to penetrate the side armor of the panzer 3 till 10 feet while the panzer 3 was able to penetrate the frontal armor of the matilda at 350 feet.

lol, that's ********.... the Matilda only had a 2pdr gun, that could never penetrate a Pzkpf 3's armor
