So this is a continuation of the mod made by one Gabriel Gorgutz forever ago, it has been seemingly dropped without any support and has obtained a lot of bugs and a lot of CTDs, I've made updates to the mod which reduce these issues as well as include the Tau and several balance changes, though the gameplay is still very similar to what was featured by Maestro Casts on YouTube a few years ago. If Gabriel has any issue with me uploading this, get in touch, I will be more than happy to take this mod down if he asks me to, but I hope that he and others will enjoy the work that I've put into his original project to make the mod work again with the current build of Retribution.
A pretty good mod that I've been enjoying, the balance isn't perfect but it's not really broken from what I've seen and for the most part it is true to the fluff and Tabletop to an extent. If you're a fan of 40k and not just space marines, this is a gem of a mod for the DoW2 community.
A perfect balance between Elite and Vengeance of the blood ravens. Very fun and reasonably balanced while managing to stay fairly true to the fluff. The creator of the mod is quite nice and the Tau really play like they should now.
There's still some bugs and balance issues across the board, but not anything major from what i've noticed.
All in all this mod has a lot of potential and it's already pretty good. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
Give this mod a chance in any case.

I've created a MODDB account just to post this review, plays just like the old codex edition mod - just as fun, really hoping this developer can continue to push the project forwards and one day this mod can compete with the likes of Elite Mod. Definitely watching this one.
