The Surf mod for Call of Duty 4 has been open sourced alongside all of its assets (including web backend, frontend, B3 plugin, ...). Feel free to fork/clone the repository and contribute changes.
You can find the official GitHub repository here: Github.com
The released files are fully up-to-date with what was being run on the official server.

I'd say it requires about the same amount of skill, maybe a bit easier. But you'll be able to judge by yourself tomorrow. ^
