Common Oblivion (Cobl) is: 1) a world enrichment mod that adds lots of little things that enriches your gameplay experience; 2) a shared library that acts as a resource for other mods; and 3) an integration tool that allows different mods to "talk" to each other.

Enrichment
* Alchemical Sorters (store and sort your alchemical items)
* Cobl Clock (configurable on screen clock)
* Lore Books (lore books from previous Elder Scroll games)
* Tamrielic Ingredients (ingredients from Morrowind and Daggerfall)
* Tarnsman's Beer! (Beer's to buy from stores)
* Foods from Salmo the Baker (a large selection of foods)
* The Luggage (a hold all container accessible from pubs, guild halls, homes)
* Etc. etc.

Cobl Races
Cobl provides a large assortment of popular hairs and eyes plus five new races.
* Eyes from Capucine and Miss Onatop.
* Hairs from: Rens, Capucines, Babe, Soya, Throttlekitty, Saram, Corean, Kafeid.
* Races: Playable Aureal, Mazken and Xivilai. Plus Ohmes-Raht (based on Luchaire's Tabaxi), and Hidden Elves (based on Ren's Mystic Elves).

Shared Library
All the items listed above are available for use in mods. Many home mods are making use alchemical sorters, foods, water sources, mage altars, etc. that are defined in Cobl. Other mods make use of more advanced features, like Cobl's Death Handling, which allows the player's death to be safely intercepted and modified. Or more simply, Cobl provides a shared Options menu, which any mod can use to make their options easy to find and configure.

Not only does Cobl make modding easier, it also makes Cobl aware mods richer since mods able to draw form a much richer set of objects at no cost. E.g. if you go into a pub, you're more likely to find interesting beers and/or foods for sale. If you visit a house, you're more likely to find an odd collection of books, or perhaps some Adamantium ore from Mournhold.

And if you're tired of seeing multiple types of pearl dust, multiple types of mountain lion meat, etc., Cobl is on the path to fixing those problems as well.

Mod Communication
Cobl provides several interfaces that allow mods to communicate information.
* Foods added by one mod can be used to satisfy hunger requirements of a hunger mod.
* Water wells placed by a village mod can fill water containers of a thirst mod.
* And afterlife mod can suspend the activity and penalties of hunger/thirst/sleep mods.
* Etc. etc.

Humble took part in the Halloween fun with a sale we've yet to cover, but worry not - it's still on for a few more days, so if you're looking for decent deals and fantastic mods, here's five last minute suggestions, and a mod for each to sway your opinion!

Game: Grand Theft Auto V: £12.74 GBP/$14.99 USD

Mod: Realistic Driving V

By Killatomate

Audi R8 V10, Ford F-350 Super Duty

This mod changes driving physics in GTA V to be as realistic as possible. Physics definitions for every single vehicle have been created from scratch utilizing every single available parameter. Driving physics were created for each of the 357 vehicles individually, spending an average of 3.5 hours on each vehicle. Not only the vehicles, but the environments themselves have been modified to yield greater realism and more predictable results on every surface, with every mode of transport.

Game: Civilization V: £17.49 GBP/$24.99 USD

Mod: Super Power Modpack

By Lincoln_lyf

SuperPower Complete Edition (v 5.0)

A Total Conversion Mod for a better late-game experience and modern warfare, this modpack starts with rebalancing all civilizations with more realistic balances in societal paths. Next, a fully revised tech tree creates new alternatives and outcomes that mesh a little better. Many more changes feature in this modpack focusing on civilizations - like religious policies and social engineering - but major new city building opportunities also allow more modern takes on national governance, and combined with military reworks, this pack considerably changes the Civilization V gameplay loop.

Game: Manhunt: £2.09 GBP/$3.49 USD

Mod: Blood Moon Manhunt

By Danoman

Enhanced Cash texture

This mod enhances all textures. all effects, modifies AI to make enemies quite a bit tougher, changes gunplay to have better gun accuracy and more long-range firefights that are just as deadly for enemies as they are for you, and even menus - both the main menu and loading screens have had additional visual changes to add into the dark theming of Manhunt. Remember this game is not for the faint of heart, so don't go into this one without doing a little research first!

Game: Kenshi: £11.49 GBP/$14.99 USD

Mod: Thinkpadius Expanded Construction

By thinkpadius

A Stack of 3 Booze Barrels

Expanded Construction offers 14 new outdoor buildings and 11 new interior decorations. Three versions feature - V1 reduces the price & weight of Building Materials to 0 while making them stackable up to 100 in your standard inventory, V2 doesn't make it quite as easy and balances things a little further with all the additional buildables, whilst V3 exists for the creatives among the Kenshi playerbase, allowing them to build as much as they want with no resource cost at all.
