Soviet Flame Turrets thwart an Aussie base assault in the Australian Outback.
Those flame turrets look vicious, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end :P.
I would like to be inside of those Flame Turrets annihilatin' the Enemy. lol

No, they don't hurt your units and buildings for practicality reasons.
