Reborn on the RNA engine, the RA2 and YR story will be relived with real time 3d graphics. We of the ConRed team are aiming to recreate the gameplay of Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge on the Red Alert 3 engine, with a new Yuri Campaign. Later on, we will be working on a mod that is an expansion to this one; Condition Red: Rise to Power. The setting of the mod will take place after the events of YR, with Yuri in the psyonic prison. This allows us the create a whole new story continuation, with a lot of new content.

Agreed. The Tesla Coil in particular turned out to be pretty amazing. :o
If you want to keep portions of the roughness, Photoshop's Smart Sharpen filter works absolute wonders. It makes a sharpened .5K map (512x512) look more detailed than an un-sharpened 1k map, as strange as it sounds. The bricks, especially, would benefit from a a wee bit more texture detail making it though the shaders.

That was because RA2 had cells, and it looked bad when vehicles overlapped. Still, your choice. I say: make it RA3 Apoc-sized ;)

and i have a suggestion - what about changing the textures of units as they gain veterancy - a good example will be your latest version of the apoc tank with all the blood and dirt VS. the same one just without blood :D

Veteran: Grimy, a few dents and scratches
Heroic: Dirty, bloody in some cases, lots of scratches and scrapes.
and maybe some extra Armour bolted on on higher veterancy...

But you would have to make sure you can clearly tell the difference frome a damaged unit to a veteran.
Whoever takes these pictures needs to lower their contrast/gamma a bit.

Both. When creating a RA3 map, they use a special tga that saturates the colors. They also up the bloom.
Why is the Appoc. the size of a rhino?
Because that's the size it was in RA2.

Sorry, but that Apoc is way too small. They were small in RA2 because RA2 had cells, as Dutchygamer said.
I'm sorry but it's not staying like that. We're your fans, and a small request like this is nothing. Do it or at least give us a proper explanation why you won't.
We're not even asking you to release this mod ASAP. The client is always right. You can't expect to treat us like that, we're your public.
And if something is badly done or rushed, when you re-do it, why should it not be done properly? If RA2 had a bug, should ConRed also have it? Don't get all cocky, Fox.
Epicness of the pic aside, I do agree with Alex_06 (though I'd have put it a bit more politely). The Apoc was small because of cells. Making it the same size in this would just ruin it's feeling of superiority (being one of the larger vehicles in the game). Of course, I'd understand if there is another reason for doing so other than "it's that big in the original."

The reason I made it the same size as in RA2, was because I'm trying to replicate the ingame looks and gameplay of the game in this mod (and expanding on it in Rise to Power).

Textures look SO much better :D but everything still feels to bright and the black wall caps are weird, but it's coming together nicely :)
How come in this picture the texture looks less blurry and the shadows aren't pixelized.
I had to shrink the image to get it all on screen.
Wasn't the Apoc tank a bit darker than the Rhino back in RA2?
On CG and concept art - yes it was; in fact it was black, but in-game it was painted as any other soviet unit.
So freakin excited! ha just a suggestion might wanna tweak with the con yards construction pad it looks a little too 2-D
