Reborn on the RNA engine, the RA2 and YR story will be relived with real time 3d graphics. We of the ConRed team are aiming to recreate the gameplay of Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge on the Red Alert 3 engine, with a new Yuri Campaign. Later on, we will be working on a mod that is an expansion to this one; Condition Red: Rise to Power. The setting of the mod will take place after the events of YR, with Yuri in the psyonic prison. This allows us the create a whole new story continuation, with a lot of new content.
The GI is the basic Allied infantry unit. Slow and capable of only light damage, GIs are nonetheless necessary because of their low cost and ability to set up sandbags around them like a bunker. Left-clicking on a selected GI unit or (D), will cause him to deploy into a heavy machine gun platform which offers increased range and power but no ability to move. Left-clicking or (D) again undeploys the GI.
It's really good, but isn't that TOO much detail for a RA3 game?

It's meshes that does that, too many meshes.
This has 2 meshes, the GI and the SMG.
RA3 TeslaTrooper model is near 3-4k Polygons. So this one is even low detail
Some models in RA3 come to 10-15k polys

you're thinking about the guardian gi he has a m16 when not deployed and when deployed he has a rocket launcher

The GI had an SMG when undeployed.
IT might have been layblesd as a rifle int he code, but the gun he holds was based on the ingame shp file.

It's a weird shadow error that happened when rendering, it's not on the texture file.
weren't they was supposed to have a steel body armor like in the cut scenes or something?

RA2 GI's were more wide, or I had a widescreen, in that case they'll look wide again :P
