There are several things that Clusterfun does to give the player a better chance, the most important of these being: monster attacks (in almost all cases) do not make the monster invulnerable anymore. Combine this with various weapon improvements and tweaks to the vitality rune to avoid self-damage, Clusterfun makes CF a bit more fair and more rewarding.
