The latest version of Classic RBDOOM 3 BFG is now available
WARNING: The game dll support is nearly complete but
there are still bugs while using them.

- Nerve expansion is now optional (like Final DOOM and Master Levels)
- When Opening Classic DOOM games and HDR is enabled it will be temporary disabled (lag and some startup frame glitch is expected)
- Fixed bug with DOOM 2 MAP 27 teleporter secret getting triggered more than one time
- Fixed bug when using linedef special 46 with switchable textures
- When the map has no enemies, items or secrets give player 100%
- com_fixedtic will no longer affect classic Doom games
- Standard Classic Doom console output is now available for all builds

- Added material sample for loading screen shaders

Okay, This mod is almost perfect. It feels like playing the original Doom 3, only with 120+ fps and motion blur and a bunch more options. Here's the only things left to do: reduce ammo count or the amount of ammo given from each ammo pack, make the environments darker, and I believe that's it for gameplay-wise. Of course, there are a few things with cut scenes and character models we can nitpick about, but that would be asking too much.
Ok, nvm. Ive been playing for a few levels and have nee things to say. The levels are now too dark! And whenever you get damaged, the screen turns red!

I get an OpenGL error when I try to open the game
It fails to create OpenGL 5.0 context
OpenGL 5.0 ? I think OpenGL's last version is 4.6.
What are your specs ?

GeForce 8400GS
3GB of RAM
It works fine with version 1.1.14
A. try to run it in windowed mode with +set r_fullscreen 0
B. report the issue to the original RBDOOM : Github.com
(since the rendering code is directly taken from it so they might know something better)
C. a console log would also be helpful

The file will be on C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\Id Software\RBDOOM 3 BFG\base\qconsole.log
So are you going to fix the too dark problem, the red screen, and the ammo count? I'm fine if you don't, it would just be nice to have that.
For the first two you better ask the original RBDOOM team about them, since I am not that familiar with rendering and what cause these issues (for the first one you can also try to raise the brightness).
As for the last one I can revert them but ONLY as a mod and not something standard with the port (some people might still want to have the BFG ammo count).

The source code has been updates and no longer it will try to initialize OpenGL 5.0 TheCoelho
