The shadow still needs work, notice the dotted shape of the cable shadow..
Isn't the Volga a River? not hating but yeah I am a bit confuse how a Uboat got in to the Volga.
The Volga river, is Russia's largest river which is very wide in some places, and it connects the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea
you can very easily get a U-Boat into the Volga river
But why would you....
To maybe attack Russian vessels crossing maybe?
To also reach the Black Sea and destroy the Black Sea Fleet?
Yes but this is too risky for the submarine in question, the amount of traffic on the Volga (much of it armed) would cause the submarines mission to end tragically long before it reached the Black Sea.
Just google.
There are some places, which are imposible to pass with such submarine.
But, just want to give u a note, that Germans could never ever sail Volga with submarines neither with vessels (from germany). Volga river was by far away from germans (if they wanted to let ships into) Also the usage of submarines would be less effective than Stukas(where could you maintain them? u need the whole base).
And the last nail to finish: the enterence into the river was blocked, to get from there to Stalingrad's outskirts takes a long time and not all the rutes of the river can ample such a huge boat, such a long boat could not sail being hidden due to not deep palces. So it's impossible
Maybe ill switch it to a soviet corvette to calm the rage.
