The chronicles of Azeroth include the remake of the three original Warcraft game (orcs and humans, Tides of Darkness+Beyond the Dark Portal, Reign of Chaos+Frozen Throne) and new ones based on wow lore (vanilla-Temple of Ahn'qiraj, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm + maybe future wow expansion) with campaign and multiplayer melee gameplay.
As we revealed several days ago on our facebook page, we plan to release additional mini-campaigns along the original ones. Each of these mini campaigns will consist around 3-4 maps and will tell additional stories of the events and characters of the two war. Current plans include a prequel campaign for warcraft 2 (Orgrim reform of the Horde and Lothar's exodus) and one focusing on Cho'gall and his cult after the events on the Tomb of Sargeras. On the picture you can see the second map of this Cho'gall campaign. Cho'gall and the Twilight Hammer Cult was sent by the Old Gods to an Island near the Broken Isles. Here a huge battle is fought by the Alliance and Horde, but unknown to both sides, cultists are already infiltrated their ranks. You will have to collect these hidden cultists and destroy both bases.

This looks so much like Warcraft2, I definetly want to play it ASAP.
You can play with the multiplayer maps already on sc2 Arcade :) For the campaign you have to wait for a bit.
