Woke up this morning and saw I still had a few days to go. Noticed there was a link to d/l from google drive, had it in less than 5 minutes.

You probably have another mod installed, apart from CC.
I only have Call of Chernobyl, which is standalone as far as I know, so. Is THAT the cause?
If you put CC in the same folder with CoC, then of course it crashes your game. I would love to explain to you which mods you might combine or not and why, but unfortunately you have to be a modmaker to understand that...
Although, in general: you cannpt simply mix the mods which touch the same files. You have to merge their scripts, configs meshes, sounds...It requires patience and only smart steps.
Merging two global mods/level packs/story mods is tough. I mean, it's almost impossible to unite SGM and Chernobyl Chronicles in one mod. Or CoC and Path in The Mist, for instance.
Merging global-gameplay mods like Misery with, say, SGM is much more possible.
Hmmmm... Mr. Fantom, CoC is in Program Files (x86)/Call of Pripyat
My original CoP installation is in C:/GOG Games/Call of Pripyat, so how am I merging the mods if they are NOT anywhere near each other? lol

Remember what Skiff said; head west along the south side of the powerplant until you see a large building with stairs up the side. Head towards it and you'll be teleported.
