Chell's Legend is a Portal mod that I started about a year ago and has since evolved to something much greater. Gameplay is a mix between Portal, Hl2, and a 2d platformer. With brand new Portal mechanics and an awesome story supported by very talented voice actors, you will be in for the ride of your life :D! I've always wanted to create something like this and now I have my chance!

wow love the detail - good to see a bit of "behind the scenes" design work here. Crazy to think this much effort went into one screen.
If the quality of the mod follows what we have seen here, you've got me watching and excited already. I also like the fact that you mentioned you are experimenting with some new ideas. creativity = win!

wow.. thats probably the best background map ive ever seen. i love the waves crashing up against the walls too.
why does everyone keep saying bioshock ? lol it's a city building with some stuff in the background :P not an underwater aquarium :D

There aren't a lot of single-player mods out there, with the obvious difficulty in thinking up a good storyline and scripting one well. There are even fewer good ones, of which "Minerva: Metastasis" is the only one I can think of.
That said, this mod shows a lot of promise on the part of the creativity shown, with the outdoor scenes a refreshing change over the sterile, unnatural environs of the original. Hopefully it will have a good storyline with some revealing details of events on the HL2 side, e.g. 7 hour war and annexation by the combine.
Is it a sequel to the original Portal by Valve?
