Wow, looks awesome. Can you zoom in on hte material for the pillars? what are they made of? and the center is a bit too pure red. If possible do you think you can give it a more detailed surface?
the pillars are my standard "chaos" shifting red squares in an endless precession.
Yeah, so far I'm not happy with those two textures. They stump me.
I need something that complements the bright crystal blues I used for the arms & tips.
Tho, the real problem is convincing hmap2 to qbsp the dang thing. Keeps seg faulting every time I make a major change...

Fixed the segfault, now for other issues...think I have the textures licked tho.
Ah. I just discovered that pure red texture has a serious advantage where weird shadows are concerned. And there are some odd ones.
