I saw game screen shots subtitles,maps, menu, objectives translated to English, its good to see.
But the cutscenes Russian voice of my game very annoying.
your mod included English voice ?
You may have done something wrong, i too have the Russian version, once i copy/pasted the files in the games folder, everything worked i had English voices and subs.
Did you copy/paste and override ALL the files from the mod, after you extracted it? including the .wav and .dll files?

In order to get the game, try some czech file-sharing sites like Ulozto.cz, there's plenty of files of this game, you can download it freely, the game has been sold out for years anyway.

Thank you for your work. But I have one problem. Folders: "video" and "maps" have changed and the folder "TABLES" - no, because in the Czech and Russian versions of the game there is no folder with that name, but there is a "dta" folder with ".dta" files. There is one file in the folder "dta" with the name "tables.dta". Please write what to do. How to replace the "tables.dta" file in this game with your "TABLES" folder? Should I do something different? How to act? Thanks.
P.s. I got it! I realized it was necessary only to move the "TABLES" folder into the game folder and leave it next to the "maps" and "video" folders. Thus, the "TABLES" folder is completely new to the game, that is, its contents need not be replaced in the game, as it was with the folders "maps" and "video".
Thank you for your contribution! Yes, in the unmodded game there is no TABLES folder apart from the DTA file, thus you don't need to replace it, simply move it to the directory.

I did try another one from a LegendsworldDOTnet forum thread.
It was labelled v.1.4. but i don't think it had Eng. subs on the intro.
Pretty sure it was based on that other one here on Moddb called v1.3.
Maybe it was an old upload or something.
Anyway ,this V1.0 does seem to be the best English mod as of Feb.2020.

Very weird playing another game made from the same game engine as Mafia.
They should have released this worldwide.
It's pretty good considering when it was made and the tools they had to work with.
We would probably have a lot more mods for it by now if it had gotten a worldwide release :)

My translation certainly isn't perfect. But I'm glad that most people enjoy it, because of the voice-overs and redone texts on loading screens, maps and so on. Thanks to that, a lot of people gave that game a chance that they wouldn't otherwise which makes me very happy.
I was thinking if I should suggest to the 2kGames to release this game on Steam. I think if I remade the mod a bit and gave it to them for testing, they could use it. That would attract a lot more attention to the game.

My subtitles in opening cutscene(intro.bik) are in Czech or Russian in both game versions that i have installed.
I have 3 cd Czech version and a Russian release.
Aren't they supposed to be in English ?
My folders seem to be correct:
