Cerebral Cascade is a Yuri's Revenge modification that seeks to build upon the scenario originally envisioned by Westwood in which Yuri was a time-traveler from the Brotherhood of Nod. Cerebral Cascade attempts to bring this plot-line to fruition, and overhauls the entire Red Alert 2 story to suit the new plot-line, covering both the events of Red Alert 2 and its expansion. The multiplayer experience contains 18 playable countries, with two bonus factions, for a total of 20 factions, and a moderate focus on maintaining balance between all factions, while keeping their ideas fresh and new. This mod also makes sporadic use of the Ares modding extension by AlexB, and the CnCNet client by Rampastring, to bring an enriched and modern experience to the playerbase.

Czechoslovakia and Greece were also important theatres, but we'll touch on those for another day.

Description

Time-travel, has various consequences. Such as the timeline remaining a rather interesting parallel to the unaltered timeline. With both similarities and alterations appearing in the new timeline. In this case, we have yet another curious case of Versailles. But this time their anger had to go on the backburner.

Luckily Einstein's alterations of the timeline had turned Germany just docile enough for it to not be the cause of the Second World War. But hostile enough for it to see similar if-not-better military buildup when it came to the reverse Barbarossa we'd see in this timeline.

Based on the Volksgrenadiers of Germany during the Second World War, the Reichs-Guard is a brave and extremely drilled soldier who brings an MG42 to bear. Years of perfection, training, and weapon modifications have made these men able to hipfire an MG42.

During the Second World War, the German Reich was forced to conscript just about every man, woman, and child into the Wehrmacht in order to hold off the "Red Tide", as the popular authoritarian regime of Germany was not prepared to fight an enemy such as the Soviet Union in a prolonged conflict. But with the aid of the United States, France, Britain, and even Italy, the German Wehrmacht was able to hold and even push back into Poland as the Soviets had bitten off more than they could chew. As they managed to pull a Napoleonic Opposite Day. With the German Wehrmacht in full rebound by 1942, the Soviets had to desperately hold on-to their Eastern European annexations. With a joint American-British invasion into the Baltic during the Summer of 1946 leading to Stalin's capture in 1947, in which peace was in-fact made.

Without the brave sacrifices of the Volksgrenadiers, who knows what the world could have looked like.
