Cerebral Cascade is a Yuri's Revenge modification that seeks to build upon the scenario originally envisioned by Westwood in which Yuri was a time-traveler from the Brotherhood of Nod. Cerebral Cascade attempts to bring this plot-line to fruition, and overhauls the entire Red Alert 2 story to suit the new plot-line, covering both the events of Red Alert 2 and its expansion. The multiplayer experience contains 18 playable countries, with two bonus factions, for a total of 20 factions, and a moderate focus on maintaining balance between all factions, while keeping their ideas fresh and new. This mod also makes sporadic use of the Ares modding extension by AlexB, and the CnCNet client by Rampastring, to bring an enriched and modern experience to the playerbase.

"We need to build a wall! A great great wall! And the Latin American Combine will pay for it!" (President Michael Dugan).

The Latin American Combine Presidente later that day mentioned that "None of the constituent countries of the LAC will pay a cent to the United States for aforementioned wall."

If Cuba is being replaced by LAC, does will apply to some other Allied and Soviet sub factions? Just curious.

I'm not sure what you meant by "does will apply", but I have no intention of modifying any of the other subfactions in the mod namewise after this point, as I felt like Latin America should subsume Cuba.

In the base game, the Soviets invaded through Mexico as well as the Pacific and Atlantic seaboards, so I never understood why Mexico wasn't apart of the WSA, so i've remedied that by replacing both Mexico and Cuba with the LAC, so in theory, Latin America is able to fight its capitalist oppressor, the United States.

Although i'm considering taking a step back from this statement as I may want to rework Antarctica's name and flag a bit in the future.

Then maybe we should make Korea united? All the same, ROK unhindered attacked the USSR. And replace the DPRK with Poland. Since one of the briefings said that Germany and France were pulling troops to the Polish border. And the USSR attacked Germany in one of the missions through Poland.

Poland falls under the jurisdiction of the Old Guard, so that's gonna be a sad no. Also the DPRK can still exist through the PRC's intervention.

I was considering a united Korea at the start, but for campaign purposes a disunited Korea bears more results, and generally is more interesting and allows for an interesting almost real-world-esque scenario to happen but with all of the bells of the Red Alert universe.

Also I could never see a ROK using Koksans, and Koksans were a guilty pleasure of mine ever since I saw one during the North Korean parade a while back.

(Although my guilty pleasure of them will not show in the game's balance)

Description

I'm sure many of you noticed that the LAC exists, is it a 7th soviet faction?

No, it's the replacement for Cuba.

Some say the LAC maintains the secrets to the Soviet MAD technology, that the Allies had never managed to reverse-engineer or get their hands on. That, and the Hind helicopter that mysteriously disappeared from Soviet reserves following the war.
