If you ever plan on releasing the source code for your mod, that's the first personal change I'll be making. I can't stand Star Wars mods that use IRL weapons or weapons from other franchises. Nonetheless, your mod is looking cool so far so keep it up.
I don't know yet if I'll release the assets.
Regarding the weapon model, that's kinda funny because I always thought this mesh was Star Wars-ish. Like it was named "mandalorian rifle". I never questioned it afterwards. If I have enough time before august 25th I might change it to it's Star Wars counterpart.
