Command & Conquer Stargate Universe is a MOD developed by a french team on C&C generals: Zero Hour. The final version aims to be a whole new RTS game based on the popular Stargate franchise. The game will provide you with a total of seven playable races (Tau'ri, Goa'uld, Asgards, Réplicators, Ancients, Wraith and Ori), this diversity is due to Stargate world's own diversity (SG-1, Atlantis, Universe and movies). The MOD is designed to be released in three version, each one providing new playable races.
Hello everyone, we wish a marvellous new year 2015.
You're probably wondering what's going on with the CnC SGU project ? Are we going to stop there after all this time?
Well not! It would be a shame to stop like that with this feeling of unfinished business for you as for us.
We are aware to have been quiet about a year. The breaks of life didn't allow us to have the time or energy to work on the mod. However we are committed to carry on this project as we had always wished it.
There are some things to finish, others to modernize, so here is what we're working on :
- HD Menus and interfaces, more modern, more ergonomic and especially suitable for screens today (see example posted)
- Finishing the Replicators race
- A.I. improved, with increased difficulty for experts and more affordable for novices.
- General stability of the mod (installation, performance, crash, balancing)
But we want to be honest with you, we will not add new races from the 7 planned at the begining of this ambitious project. We prefer to finalize a version with 4 well-balanced races. We shall be already very proud of that and we don't want to risk to start over a very long period of development with no real visibility and regret it after.
We plan to release a version in the middle of the first half of 2015. We never say it enough, but thank you for supporting us even today.
See you soon for new images of work in progress;)

uuuuuu new update! thanks !!
I take it each faction's strengths are as follows.
Asgard- Aerial Units and firepower
Go'auld- assault and armour?
Tau'ri- More balanced forces
Replicators (when they come)- Mass numbers, speed, harassment and salvaging
Thanks look forward to replicators
More or less. The Asgard are definitely King of the Air. Trackers are good anti-air and their ships are...well...they're Asgard. Nuff said. Only go with ground troops if you absolutely have to... In my opinion. They're okay but not as good as other faction's forces.
Goa'uld are assault infantry more than armour. Just make sure to mix Kull and Jaffa - Kull decimate infantry and Jaffa can shoot at air targets - Kull can't. Send in multiple waves in Roush'tak and you're set. Gliders for air superiority. Neeedle Threaders can double as tanks but Gliders cost less and build faster.
Tau'ri are annoying. Their powers are anyway. Especially the F-302 strike and the Horizon strike. After the first time you're hit with one or both, you'll dedicate the rest of your game finding and destroying their HQs. Adide from that, Snuipers are their best friend (stealth anti-inf) and tanks are quite useful. As are their air force. Anti-air defences are a must. Counter their ships with bigger or more ships...
Replicators are actually pretty good. During assaults, Arachnids, Scorpions and Hornets - especially Hornets - backed up by a few Asilids. I don't like the Asilid personally, I feel the Replicator frigate would be a better unit to put in there but it's definitely useful as an escort. Hope that helps.
And what could be the factions disadvantages?
Yeh thanks, Replicators and Goa'uld for me

Since the update I haven't been able to get it to run, and getting the infamous "Technical difficulties" error, which is odd because vanilla runs fine. I've tried a disc version of the first decade and a Daemon tools copy of Generals: Zero Hour but neither has worked. I've also reinstalled a couple of times. I've tried various online methods, but with no luck.
Did you got the CnC_SGU_setup_V1.5B2-130923.2.exe file ?
We had some issues with the first post.
Hi everyone, i am having trouble get the mod to start. When I click the button to start playing it comes up saying
"access to path 'c:\program files\EA games\command and conquer the first decade\command and conquer(tm) generals zero\data' is denied."
Is this because I am using first decade and/or is there around this, coz I would really like to play this mod........ :-/
Plus I am a bit new to this mod thing, so be gentle :-)
Can you try the new release, we've made some changes to be compatible with "c&c ultimate collection".
Does it works with the first decade ?
It is first decade I am trying it on, but I will try out the latest relapse and get back to you :)
We've already added the support to the First Decade since October 2010...
